Tell us about yourself…
Hello I’m Hannah, the Macleod half of Coulson Macleod. The Coulson half is my fiancé Mark. Together we run Coulson Macleod, a small, but global art business.

What do you make/design?
We specialise in the design and production of handmade artwork that’s printed onto natural and reclaimed materials including wood, metal, stone, fabric, and recycled paper. All our prints are designed by us. As well as the frames, which are integral to the piece. We’re 100% British designed and made.

How and when did you start?
We launched Coulson Macleod in March 2009 as a second business. We also run a graphic design company Yellow Creative Ltd (http://www.yellowcreative.net) This meant we were able to start the business with no investment and utilise all our existing skills. Mark has almost 25 years experience in graphic design and I have a background in marketing and ...

What are the highlights of your career thus far?
It has been a wonderful adventure where everyday is a highlight.

I work for privately owned, highly aspirational, audacious IT Consulting Company that has the bold mission to make the world a better place through software, technology and innovation. Apart from building systems for corporations we spend a lot of time supporting amazing not for profit organisations around the world in the development of their IT solutions.

This company has trusted me with roles way beyond my level of experience, made me a better human being and provided me with opportunities to work with amazing people and travel all over the world.

I am part of the global management team and am working ...

Describe yourself in a 5 words...
Busy, organised, committed, passionate Mumpreneur!

What inspires you?
I’m inspired by ideas and possibilities. I love seeing potential in a person and helping them develop it. I’m inspired by the sea outside our house every day and by the fun and crazy things my kids say and do.

I'm good at...
Taking business ideas and putting them into reality. I’m getting better at making them profitable too! I love writing and communicating, networking and mentoring.

I’m bad at...
Saying no!

What are the highlights of your career thus far?
I think one of my biggest breakthroughs was in 2009. I managed to deliver Kit at 10lb7oz in 3.5 hours in March, brought out The Mumpreneur Guide book in September and won the ‘Inspirational  Businessmum’ award in October!

Describe yourself in 5 words...
Optimistic, Impulsive, Scatterbrained, Motivated and Fun

What inspires you?
Whenever I get the chance I like to have time alone.  I especially like to get to a beach, as I grew up by the seaside and I find staring out over a flat horizon and hearing the waves to be very restorative.  I love my family dearly, but I find I need to take regular time off in order to recharge myself. My other great love is choral music.  I sing with the English Chamber Choir and find my weekly sessions with them incredibly uplifting. I firmly believe that as well as work/life balance each woman should find something that is just for her – not for business and not for family.  When I decided to take the time once a week to follow my passion of singing, it impacted on all areas of my life and made ...

Describe yourself in a 5 words.
Determined, motivated, positive, loving and over-emotional!

What inspires you?
My son, my parents and anyone who has achieved what they wanted to in life.

I'm good at...
Being a mum (I hope!), my job and getting things done. If I want to do something, I’ll do it! I’ve also learnt to be good at making the best out of situation, I always see the postives and don’t dwell on the negatives.

I’m bad at...
Doing one thing at a time! For example, I’ll go on my computer to catch up on emails but will then end up writing a list of new ideas for VIPregnancy, replying to tweets, approving friend requests on facebook, editing videos, coming up with new features for my radio & TV show and then I will realise I’m even more behind on my emails! So I get focused and start replying, then my son will wake up ...

Describe yourself in a 5 words.
Creative, Determined, Innovative, Dedicated and Effervescent.

What inspires you?
I know it's a cliché, but my children. Without them, I'd never have started a business, and I wouldn't be who I am today. They keep me happy, healthy and motivated to achieve my goals.

I'm good at...
Designing! I'm a real creative cookie. I can make the dullest document look fabulous, and create memorable and striking branding from nothing. I also LOVE it when my kids bring home projects such as "design a puppet” or "create an easter bonnet”. I'm in my element!

I’m bad at...
Calling strangers. I can meet strangers face to face. I can email them. Can I speak to them on the phone? No. It's something I'm working with, as it could be something that will hold me back.

What are the highlights of your career thus far?
The biggest ...
