About Me

My name is Kiran and I am the founder of VIVACIOUS MUM and Chief-in-Editor Vivacious Mum Magazine. I am an single mom by choice and mother of a lively, seven year old girl.

Prior to founding the site, I am an Interior Designer and Interior Design Tutor by profession.

In addition to writing about aspects covering a Mum's life, my site is also dedicated to topics that peak my interest as well as organizing events and workshops.

While I currently live in London, I have been lucky enough to live abroad; Norway as well as travel extensively throughout Europe and Asia.

"When I started 'VIVACIOUS MUM', it was my intention to share experiences with fellow single mothers, as well as mentor those who were just starting their Single mom journey. I also sought to portray positive images of single motherhood in an effort to combat the negative stereotypes portrayed in the media. But, one of the things I’ve noticed about single moms is that the one thing that should bind us together, keeps us apart: SINGLE MOTHERHOOD."
